"I’ve known Jamie since she was born. She is my cousin and godsister (if that’s a thing - her parents are my godparents and she sure feels like a sister) and it’s not a typo - I married a dude named Chris Holmes.

Grasping at These Straws catches me on all levels. An all too relatable tale of drinking your way through your days and realizing it’s keeping you isolated even as you’re surrounded by people and a beautiful song with a lyrical rhythm that’s really fun to sing. I couldn’t stop hearing harmonies in my head listening to it, so we recorded them. Chris did the arrangement and played all of the instruments." - Mindy/Melinda
